About Me

Hi there! I’m Adit, a third-year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing a dual degree in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences) and Business Administration through the MET (Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology) program.

I have experience in software development, machine learning, and robotics. My research goals are to develop societally impactful applications of machine learning in fields such as biomedicine, neuroscience, and climate.

Most recently, I’ve been conducting research into brain-computer interfaces for speech synthesis, advised by Professor Gopala Anumanchipalli at Berkeley. In the past, I’ve worked on machine learning methods for biomedical applications ranging from drug development to cancer survival prediction. Previously, I worked on using semi-autonomous vehicles to mitigate traffic congestion and reduce carbon emissions under Prof. Alexandre Bayen at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research. I am also part of the Neurotech@Berkeley student organization, where I lead a group of 30 students working at the intersection of neuroscience and AI.

I’m always excited to talk about the latest in machine learning research, deep tech, and entrepreneurship – so don’t hesitate to reach out at aditshah@berkeley.edu.
